About Cathy
I began my writing career scripting plays with my neighborhood friends and persuading our parents to come and watch with the promise of Oscar-winning performances. Growing up, our home was filled with books. My parents encouraged reading which also fueled my desire to write.
After graduating from college, I was an elementary school teacher, working with second and third graders. My last years in education were spent as a librarian in a small school where I was passionate about introducing new and diverse books to my students.
I believe in reading and writing books that children can use as magical tools to feed their curiosity and teach them about the world.
